Although I do mostly commissioned pieces, occasionally I do get the chance to paint the things that I love. The things that inspired me to become an artist to begin with. My home, Montana, the beautiful landscapes, the wildlife, all of it, that is my true passion.
I like to think of myself as constantly evolving and growing as an artist. Over time, many things have changed, or evolved, including my technique, the types of paint I use, prep work on pallets, mediums, etc. I’ve also expanded my materials to include other reclaimed wood, including old cabinets, doors, etc. I’ve also started using canvas a lot more as well, and finishing each painting off with a reclaimed pallet frame. The sky is the limit, and I’m having fun!
